Professor Mathur started his career in the corporate world as a Junior Manager come to hold positions as President and CEO of World Digital, CEO Modi Telecom, Vice President of GEC Group Company, Vice President Escorts Telecom and G. M. Group of Uptron. He has taught at the Maharshi Institute of Management, Delhi University, Institute of Management Technology, and Institute of Management studies, Goa Institute of Management, Goa Strategic Management.
